Walk into the Sunset

Charlie Chaplin, ‘Modern Times’, 1936
A kid is fascinated by the sunset. The colours and the seemingly last ditch, radiant beams of light from the sun are things the kid has fallen for. The kid believes that the sunset is a kingdom that is eternally glowing and blazing with energy and it is a place he dreams of going to.

The kid then one day, out of the blue, decides to ‘chase the sunset’. He decides to pack his bags and continuously walk towards the direction the sun is setting in until he reaches the kingdom of the everlasting sunset.
